We’ve been following on the Edward Melly theme by celebrating another of his achievments! Museum Assistants Helen Reynolds, Heather Tinning and Robert Bainbridge have just completed a small exhibition about Riversley Park in the museum’s Community Case.
The team wanted to find a selection of objects that paid tribute to Edward Melly but also reflected people’s enjoyment of his gift of Riversley Park from when it opened in 1907 to the present day. After searching the museum stores they have come up with a fantastic selection of objects to help tell the story of the Park. Why not pay us a visit to see if you agree?
Anyone can get involved with creating a display in our Community Showcase. If you are a group, organisation or school and you would like to work with the museum team in creating an exhibition using items from our collection, please contact Matt Johnson, Museum Outreach Officer, on 024 7635 0720
