Print on Demand service for Nuneaton paintings

Geraint and EnidNuneaton Museum & Art Gallery are pleased to announce that copies of the oil paintings from the collection are now available to purchase online. The Print on Demand website is hosted by the Public Catalogue Foundation and features 52 paintings from the Museum & Art Gallery collection to buy copies of.

Copies of the paintings are available as single prints, framed prints, greetings cards, postcards, fridge magnets and canvases. Money raised from the sale of these items will be shared with the Museum & Art Gallery, which will help the service continue to care for and make accessible its collections.

The Public Catalogue Foundation digitised 137 oil paintings from the Museum & Art Gallery’s collection a few years ago as part of a project to catalogue the nation’s oil paintings. These are available to see on the BBC Your Paintings website.

About janineclarefox

My name is Janine Fox and I am Assistant Museum Officer at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery. My role is to care and document the museum collection. Working within a small team means I also help install exhibitions, carry out research for enquiries and assist with larger museum projects. What inspires me? Apart from tea and chocolate, I would say travel, photography, art and anything old with a story to tell! It will come as no surprise that I love my job; I work with objects, ensuring that they are looked after, made available for the public and that their stories are recorded for perpetuity.
