A record attendance for Lunchtime Talk!

An audience of 44 people smashes our attendance record for Lunchtime Talks at the Museum & Art Gallery and those attending certainly were not disappointed!

Stephen Dean, Principle Archaeologist at Staffordshire County Council gave a fantastic talk on the famous Staffordshire Hoard, the largest single find of early medieval treasure in the British Isles. Did you know that it is made up of over 1,800 gold and silver artefacts?

Our thanks go to all those who attended and of course to Stephen who braved the cold and snow from Staffordshirep7 (top pic).
