Read All About It for Heritage Open Days!

A special Heritage Open Days event will be taking place on Sunday 9 September!

From 11am to 1.30pm join two members of the Museum team at the Griff House Hotel in Nuneaton as they reveal the daily diary of Robert Evans, the father of George Eliot. Robert lived at Griff House and compiled much of the diary there. We have entries from October 1830 until June 1832. Younger visitors will also be able to try on some Victorian costume!

From 2pm to 4pm the event will relocate back to Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery. You will be able to join us in the George Eliot Gallery to view the diary.
